A barefoot sneaker has a wide foot-shaped toe box, a thin flexible sole and no raised heel — so the foot moves and senses the ground the way it does without shoes, with the protection of a shoe.
Measure your child's foot from heel to longest toe and add 0.5–1 cm. Because the toe box is roomy, going up half a size for wiggle room works well.
The artificial-leather upper is light but not as ventilated as mesh — choose this style for cooler days and school wear. For hot summer days, the mesh version is more breathable.
